Prayer for Assistance or Direction In Life

O Raphael, lead us toward those we are waiting for, and those who are waiting for us. Raphael, Angel of happy meetings, lead us by the hand toward all we are looking for. May all our movements be guided by your Light and transfigured with your Joy. Angel, guide of Tobias, please place the request we now address to you at the feet of God upon Whose unveiled Face you are privileged to gaze. Lonely and tired, crushed by the separations and sorrows of life, we feel the need of calling upon you and of pleading for the protection of your wings, so that we may not be as strangers in the province of joy. Remember the weak, you who are strong, you whose home lies beyond the region of thunder, in a land that is always peaceful, always serene and bright with the resplendent love and glory of God. Thank you for listening to our humble request, patient and loving messenger and Angel of help and healing.             ~ Amen

Lord God, by these prayers of the Archangel Raphael, hear us, help us and heal us. Grant us the grace to avoid all sin and to persevere in every good work until we reach our spiritual destination. Protect us and keep us steadfast in our morality, mindful of our obligations as Your children. Keep us ever grateful for the mercy that You extend to us in answering our humble requests, You Who lives and reigns in eternal love, without end.           ~ Amen

PRAYER FOR HELP & HEALING

Glorious Archangel St. Raphael, great prince of the heavenly court, 
you are known for your gifts of wisdom, healing and grace. 
You are a guide of those who journey by land or sea or air; and, 
you are consoler of the afflicted, and refuge of sinners.
I beg you, assist me in all my needs and in all the sufferings of life,
as once you helped the young Tobias on his travels. 
Because you are the "medicine of God" I humbly pray you to heal
the many infirmities of my soul and the illnesses that afflict my body.
I especially ask of you the favor of:

PRAYER FOR A SAFE JOURNEY

St. Raphael, archangel, you protected Tobias as he journeyed to a distant land. How natural, therefore, for us to pray for your powerful help for safe travel and a happy return. This is what we ask for ourselves, as well as for all loved ones who are far from home. Please protect us and all travelers. Spread your loving wings of protection over us and guide us as we journey both near and far from home.~ Amen


PRAYER TO FIND A GOOD SPOUSE

St. Raphael, you were sent by God to guide young Tobias in finding a good and virtuous spouse. Please help me in this important choice which will affect my whole future. You directed Tobias in finding a spouse, and gave him guidelines which should be foremost in every marriage: "Pray together before making important decisions." Through prayer help me keep God as the Third Partner in my marriage, so I will have the strength and grace I need to always accept and do God's will. ~ Amen
